Pediatric - Endocrinology Physician

Practice Environment: Level II trauma facility, Level II pediatric care facility
Practice Support: RN 1 , MA 1 , PA/NP 10

Position Overview:

We are seeking Board-Certified Pediatric Endocrinologists for a long-term locum tenens opportunity providing a mix of onsite clinical coverage and virtual hospital call coverage. This position offers a structured schedule with a combination of clinic work and remote call responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Two weeks per month: Onsite clinic coverage (8:00 AM 5:00 PM) with weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call
• Two weeks per month: Virtual hospital call coverage (24-hour remote call)
• Overtime applicable after 40 clinical hours per week.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required in Pediatric Endocrinology
• Fellowship: Preferred

Certifications Required:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Hospital privileges required

License: We can look at providers who can obtain the temporary AK state license while full licensure is in process.

Call Details:

• Call Type: Beeper call
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
• Call Coverage: Both inpatient and outpatient

Rates:

• Hourly : $250/hour on 1099
• Night Call: $250 per night
• Call back: $300/hour
• 24 Hour Call: $1800 per day (3 hours gratis)
